Professional tree care is essential, not just for the health and beauty of your trees, but also for the safety of people and property, particularly during periods of high winds and adverse weather. Of course, quality tree work comes at a cost, but there’s a way to get extra value, and sometimes even free work when our team is already onsite.

Most people when they require tree services request a quote for a single job and that’s it. While this addresses the specific issue, it often doesn’t make the most of the time our team spends on site. Tree work can be labour-intensive, and there may be times when the full team isn’t fully occupied. That’s where careful workload planning can make a real difference.

At WGCS, we recommend a full discussion of all your tree work needs, not just the immediate job. By understanding your complete requirements, as well as any professional recommendations we may have, we can programme an agreed scope that ensures maximum efficiency.

For example, if we are onsite to remove a large tree, there may be times during the day when some of the team are underutilised. If we know your full “wish list,” we may be able to carry out additional work during these periods such as hedge trimming, stump grinding, or other tasks, often at no, or little, extra cost. If any additional specialist equipment like a stump grinder is required then that may incur a charge, but the labour itself can often be included within the original day’s work.

By planning all your work in advance, we can ensure our team remains fully productive throughout the day, minimising downtime and maximising the value of each visit. This approach allows you to get as much done as possible without paying for extra visits. So that hedge that needed cutting may actually get done professionally this time and for a lot less than paying for a separate visit.

At WGCS, we are not only committed to providing friendly, professional, and responsive tree services, but we also want to ensure every visit gives you maximum value. By talking through and understanding your full tree care needs, we can efficiently programme the work so you get your priority done with potentially other work you may not have considered.
